Who owns the website design once it is finished and paid for?

Copyright of the finished website and/or patents of the finished software is the responsibility of the client. Upon receipt of final payment by ZinZang Studio, LLC, the client will be assigned rights to ownership of the website, website design, graphics, software, and any other files associated and/or implied within this project and text contained in the finished assembled website.

ZinZang Studio, LLC retains the right to display graphics and other web design elements as examples of their work in their respective portfolio.

ZinZang Studio, LLC will not give access to any password protected or proprietary areas of the site to any client for any reason without permission from the client. In the case of a graphic design, once a design is paid for it is yours. For more information on the specifics about this topic as it pertains to websites, please visit our Terms of Service page.

How long does it take to construct a website?

No two websites are alike, so to provide a hard and fast answer would be to no avail. The design process can take anywhere from a couple days to a few months, depending on the website requires. For example, the number of pages, any logos or other brand marketing material we would be designing in conjunction with the website, etc. On average, the design process takes approximately two to four weeks.

For an idea of what the project will entail, please visit our Website Design & Development Process page.

How much does it cost?

Pricing varies, just as the scope of projects varies. In order to get more detailed information, please contact ZinZang Studio directly or submit a Request for Quote.  If you are interested in our Website Packages, or Ecommerce Packages please visit those pages to get an idea of the price range.

Please keep in mind, we will need to know what it is you specifically desire to give you an accurate estimate. All printing, shipping and delivery costs are due prior to printing.

Who will perform maintenance and updates?

This is entirely up to you. If you have even basic computing knowledge, it is conceivable for your website to be designed as a CMS site (content management system) where you are able to update the site on your own. However, if you would prefer our own professional updating services, we can accommodate for a monthly or annual fee. We can also update on a case-by-case basis at our hourly rate.

What is your Terms of Service/Privacy Policy?

Why are you small business website experts?

Our focus on small business websites requires knowledge and expertise beyond the technical skills required of web developers and designers. We consider ourselves as students of the theories behind effective small business website design. We pride ourselves on custom, quality and original designs, whereas large web design companies tend to offer prefabricated template sites, a “one size fits all” approach, which we do not share.

One primary distinguishing characteristic of our specialty is the way one designer must be able to perform a multitude of functions and then unify them into a cohesive whole.

ZinZang Studio developers and designers must be able to:

  • Research and create an effective brand marketing strategy
  • Research and develop text content (if not provided by client)
  • Create and manipulate graphics
  • Design a secure site structure and fluid site navigation
  • Design the visual “look and feel” and layout of the pages
  • Code HTML and several other programming languages to meet the most current web standards and practices provided by the Worldwide Web Consortium
  • Work closely with our clients

Under this tested system, a high-quality custom website can be produced.
We consider it our job to continue to educate ourselves as to all of the above-named aspects of web design, as well as constantly learn more about the nature of small business marketing and industry leading software. Additionally, we are a professional resource in our areas of expertise for your business, much like you would consider your accountant or attorney.

Can I get my website right now?

What if I’m not happy with the design?

If you are unsatisfied with a ZinZang Studio design, it would be best to contact our office. This is why communication with our clients is so important to us – we want to ensure it is right the first time.

Do you have references?

Yes. Please visit our Portfolio section of the website to see samples of our work and stop by our Client Testimonials page to hear what our client have to say about us.

Can you send me some samples of work ZinZang Studio has done?

Please visit our Portfolio page to get an idea of our work, and/or schedule a free consultation and we can bring samples.

Do you provide spec work (i.e. a sample of what you have in mind)?

As a rule, we do not provide spec work. We see ourselves as valuable business consultants, aspiring to achieve excellence, professionalism, and long-term relationships with our clients.

As design professionals, we cannot afford to spend numerous hours for free on work that should be paid for. You would not expect to get free legal work from your attorney, or free tax work from your accountant. Many hours go into the creative process and research before the completion of a design. Many times this involves back and forth between client and designer, and all those hours add up. We value our time, so the scope of the project, along with price, must be agreed upon prior to our time commitment.

Do you do pro bono work?

Yes, from time to time, we provide pro bono services to charities or causes we support. More on pro bono work here.

Why should I hire you for the job?

Looking out for our clients and anticipating their needs is our number one job. As your professional marketing and design resource, much like your accountant, attorney, or other strategic partner, we provide you with valuable advice based on our expertise, and want to build lasting client relationships. Please visit our Portfolio section of the website to view some of our work, and visit our Client Testimonials page to hear what our clients have said about us.
