The great folks at the New York Deli & Pizza Restaurant in Williamsburg, VA have been our clients since 2008, beginning with a basic “starter website“. This year, we took it upon ourselves to give their website a facelift and a total back-end overhaul built upon the WordPress framework.

Some new features:

  • In the News page, easily updated by the New York Deli staff by logging into to their new admin interface via any web browser or mobile device, or even by sending an email
  • New food menu page with interactive tabs for all sections of the menu
  • Secure, interactive contact form instead of a simple email link

Why your ecommerce business needs an SSL (Secure Socket Layer)

Rewards of Pro Bono Design Work

We love to design and we love to support worthy causes, this is why ZinZang Studio does Pro Bono work.  Pro Bono work is typically defined as work done “for the common good”, and is undertaken voluntarily usually without payment.

Applying this term to the field of professional graphic design work, allows us to passionately provide our services to those who are unable to afford them, and/or to support a worthy cause/charity at the same time.

Recently we have had the opportunity to combine both our love of design and the promotion of a worthy cause for the Gene Bew 1st Memorial Fishing Tournament on Chickahominy Lake and provide support for team “Never Give Up” in the Light The Night Walk™ for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).  We had the pleasure of designing the event flyers, and postcard reminders for the event.

Website Update: Dermatology Center of Williamsburg

We are happy to announce the launch of the new Dermatology Center of Williamsburg website, a small to mid-range level informational and e-commerce website, designed, hosted and developed by us.

Some new features:

  • Customized WordPress theme
  • Online shopping cart software, integrated with the main site theme
  • Listings, descriptions, and images for over 200 cosmetic products for sale
  • Dedicated, interactive contact forms for various appointments and reasons for contact
  • PHPList newsletter integration
  • Event Calendar
  • Automated, full, nightly backups of the entire site’s files and databases

Results

In June of 2010, the site had 722 unique visitors.  June 2011 saw that number go up to 1740, a 140%  increase.
