What Page of Search Are You On?

whatpageofsearchamion.com screencap

ED: I guess we'll never know. /sarc :) The site this post used to link to hasn't worked for several months, and they haven't returned emails. Links removed.

Normally when you do a Google search, the results can be influenced by the geographic location of your IP address, previous searches, and other web browsing history. Ever want to know what page of search your website appears on to most everyone else? Now you can find out by using zinzang.com.

Enter your desired search keywords and the URL of your domain, and What Page of Search Am I On? will search the first 10 pages of results. If the domain you entered appears within the first 10 pages, the search will stop and highlight the top-ranking result for your domain. Very helpful!

A caveat: This tool does not currently include results culled from Google Maps. Therefore, if your keywords include city or state names, your domain may actually have a higher rank than is shown in these results.

You will need to give us the majority of text for your Starter Website, culled from your current marketing materials. Logo

Provide us with your logo in high quality digital format, preferably vector. If you don’t have a professionally crafted logo, but have chosen a typeface, color scheme, and/or “just a quick sketch” image you’ve used for business cards, stationery, or advertising, please scan it at a minimum of 450 dpi to a JPG, TIFF, or PNG file.

Photographs

You may send us up to 5 photographs to use on your Starter Website. Please send us the largest versions of the photos you can, in digital format like raw, jpg, or tiff. We will do any basic color correction, exposure compensation, or cropping if necessary.

Reasons Ecommerce Businesses Need an SSL

Reasons to get an SSL

  • Build online trust with potential customers
  • Protect your businesses liability
  • Protect your customer’s information

padlock

Why your ecommerce business needs an SSL (Secure Socket Layer)

SSL encrypts data personally identifiable information like credit cards numbers and prevents the maliciously inclined from stealing personal information. An SSL protected page has an address begins with “https” and usually has a padlock icon (or similar icon) at the bottom of the page or in the address bar of your web browser.

Your browser encrypts the data and sends to the receiving website. A browser by itself cannot secure the entire transaction and that’s why it’s imperative for ecommerce website developers to do their part in educating their clients about SSL’s.

How do SSL Certificates work?

The SSL certificate sits on a secure server to encrypt data and identify the website. The SSL certificate contains information about the certificate holder which helps verify the website belongs to whom it says it belongs to. It also authenticates the domain the certificate was issued to, the name of the Certificate Authority who issued the certificate, the root, and the country where the certificate was issued in.

ZinZang Studio offers SSL’s with:

  • Unlimited Servers per Certificate
  • 256-bit Encryption Strength
  • 99.9% Browser Recognition
  • 24/7 Phone Support
  • Extended Validation Green Bar
  • Up to $250,000 Warranty
  • Installation Tool
  • Unlimited Re-issue Period
  • SAN (UCC) Support
  • IDN Support
  • Verification Seal

Maximize Efficiency by Minimizing Routine Tasks

Giving Directions

Most of our clients have a zoomable, scrollable, Google map (as well as written directions from major city locations) on their website’s direction page.  When new patrons, clients and/or business partners need to know “how to get there”, direct them to your website’s directions page.  This will minimize the time it takes to explain directions over the phone and let them more accurately discern the best route for them.  Directing them to the page will also increase the traffic on your site. (Of course we are not suggesting losing the personal touch, but recommend this especially when time is short.)

Using Interactive PDF Forms

Using these forms will save valuable time before initial client meetings and appointments, not only for you and your staff, but for your clients.  Forms can be filled out online and submitted via email or as a printed hard copy.  PDF forms create easy accessibility for your clients to your most used documents and present a modern professional approach, rather than slower, less ecologically friendly, traditional method.

Standards of Quality and How They Benefit You

ZinZang Studio sets itself apart from other web developers by keeping up-to-date with the latest web standards as provided by the World Wide Web Consortium (w3.org).  The World Wide Web Consortium is comprised of leading experts who have developed and tested web development technologies and is the best resource for issues of compliance and web standards for the web community. Adherence to these standards assures that each website we design is a stronger, more responsive, and sustainable final product.

How does this benefit you?

Saves you time and money

Minimizes the time required to maintain, edit and update your website, therefore saves you money.

Accessibility to those with disabilities

Standards compliant sites are accessible to people with disabilities, such as those who use screen readers or braille bars.

Search Engine response

Search engines (like Google) follow standards. Since your site complies with standards, it will be more visible in online searches than your competitors, who probably don’t follow these standards.
